Dr. Martin Haardt

Dr. Haardt obtained his doctoral degree at the University of Konstanz, Germany, in the field of molecular microbiology and genetics. Further research in academic and corporate environments has given him a solid understanding of the needs and limitations encountered by researchers on the path to commercialization.

He is co-author of peer-reviewed scientific manuscripts published in high-impact journals (Research Gate) and inventor on several patents.

Since 2004 he has worked with scientists and clinicians to create new intellectual property and advance it towards: licensing, research and development partnerships, sponsored research agreements, and new company formation.

Extensive experience fostering and identifying technologies with sound commercial potential, managing the intellectual property protection process and connecting with industry are all part of Martin’s playbook. This experience has led to numerous successful licensing partnerships, of which some are now being pursued by large international pharmaceutical companies.
